We have a dedicated technical and estimating team who are very experienced in delivering the best possible solution to your needs. We work very closely with Specifiers, Architects, Consulting Engineers and welcome your enquiry from the infancy of any project.

Sub Contract Fabrication

Our expert fabricators work from five dedicated workshops comprising 40,000 sq ft at the five acre Carrickfergus Headquarters. A just in time manufacturing process is utilised with steel being supplied from local stockholders, in planned phases, in order to dovetail with our clients’ program of works. Services include structural steel, bespoke steel fabrication and sub contract manufacture.

Automated Precision Sawing

We operate a Behringer & Kaltenbach automated band saws which hav square cutting capabilities with round bar, flat bar, CHS, RHS, UB & Channel.  The cutting envelope is 400mm x 500mm, with a maximum section length of 15m.

Automated Precision Drilling

We operate a bank of computer operated automated drills capable of drilling 40-120mm RHS & 139mm CHS steel sections.

Hydraulic & Electro-Mechanical Punching

Our LVD hydraulic punch can be tooled to punch multiple slots / holes through steel sections up to 3000mm in length.  The Apollo electro-mechanical punches square, circular or hexagonal holes up to 11mm deep.

Precision Machining

Our Machining Shop has lathes, milling and surface grinding capabilities in addition to electro-mechanical steel shaping tooling.

Plasma Profiling

We operate a Cobra plasma laser profiler capable of cutting 3m x 2m plate from 2mm-25mm thick.  Laser profiling allows for the detailed cutting of intricate shapes and patterns in steel.  Designs are coded on computer then quickly actioned by the automated laser cutting bed.

Robotic Welding

We operate a twin bed automated welding robot, facilitating continuous welding activities for a wide range of product types.

Our new robot offers 360 degree vertically rotating jigs, combined with a 6 axis robotic arm & fully automatic gas regulation for optimum welding finish.

Coded Welding

We fabricate with teams of experienced coded welders operating shift rotations for 24hr production capabilites.  Our factory production control certification is to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2.
